Privacy policy
ItStartsWithYou.vote is operated by Agile LLC (Agile Media Agency). Short version: we collect only what we need to print and ship your order, and we don't sell it to anyone.
What we collect
When you place an order or contact us, we receive the details you send: name, campaign or organization, email, phone, shipping address, and your artwork. Your in-progress order selections are stored only in your own browser (local storage) until you send them. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address, the date, and which form you used.
How your order travels
The order form opens an email from your own mail app to us, so your order request and your artwork travel by email, through your email provider and ours. Email sent to us is received by Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to our mailbox.
How we use it
To produce, ship, invoice, and support your orders. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We may email you about your order. We send newsletter emails only to people who subscribed, and you can leave the list any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing us.
Cookies and analytics
We don't set advertising cookies. We use one analytics tool, Microsoft Clarity, described below. Our host, Cloudflare, may collect standard network error reports so the site stays reachable.
Site analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, shown to us as heatmaps and replays of visits, plus device and browser type. Replays keep typed text hidden: what you type into forms, and the order summary our order form shows back to you, are hidden before they leave your browser. Clarity does not run on our order confirmation page, and it is switched off entirely when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
Clarity sets two cookies on this site: _clck, kept for up to a year, and _clsk, which lasts one visit. Microsoft may also set its own cookies on its own domain, and it receives your internet address, which it uses to estimate your location. If your device is set to a time zone outside the Americas, Clarity runs without cookies. We tell Clarity not to share this data with Microsoft Advertising. Microsoft acts as an independent company under its own privacy statement and may use the data for its own purposes, which its terms say can include advertising.
Replays are kept for 30 days; heatmaps and a sample of replays are kept for up to 9 months. Clarity data is not tied to your name, so we cannot find and delete one person's Clarity data on its own; it expires on that schedule. You can opt out of Microsoft's collection through the Digital Advertising Alliance (choose Microsoft), or block cookies or scripts from clarity.ms in your browser or with a content blocker. The site works the same without it.
Who we share it with
Only the vendors needed to run the site and fulfill your order: our production partners (to print and ship), Stripe (to process payment), USPS (for mailing services), Cloudflare (which hosts the site, routes our email, and stores newsletter signups), and Microsoft (Clarity, site analytics, as described above). We keep campaign materials and client lists confidential, and we never share one campaign's information with another.
